Who we are
College Connect is an independent app created and run by a college student. It helps students find and book services offered by other students on their own campus. College Connect is an independent, student-created app. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any college or university. School names are used descriptively only.
Who can use it
You need a valid school email address ending in .edu and must be at least 18 years old (or have permission from a parent or guardian). One account per person. Don't share your login or impersonate someone else.
We're a marketplace, not the provider
Providers are independent students, not employees or contractors of College Connect. We don't perform, supervise, license, insure or guarantee any service, and we're not a party to the agreement between a student and a provider. You book and receive services at your own risk.
Bookings, deposits and cancellations
Each provider sets their own prices, deposit amount and cancellation policy. Those terms are shown to you before you confirm, and the version you agreed to is saved with your booking. Payment is arranged directly between you and the provider — College Connect does not process payments or issue refunds.
Your content and conduct
You own what you post (photos, portfolio, reviews, messages) and give us permission to display it inside the app. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, misleading, or that you don't have the rights to. Reviews must describe a real experience.
Reports and removal
Anyone can report an account using the report button on a profile. We may review, hide, suspend or permanently remove any account or content — including for repeated reports, no-shows, scams or fake profiles — with or without notice.
No warranty; limits
The app is provided "as is" with no warranties. To the fullest extent allowed by law, College Connect isn't liable for any loss, injury, damage, dispute or missed appointment arising from services booked through the app or from your use of it.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the app grows; continuing to use College Connect means you accept the current version. Questions, takedown requests or safety concerns: use the report button in the app or reach out through the account you signed up with.
